Francesca's Window
I got to shoot with an old friend who's believed in my photography ever since I started! It was really refreshing to work with someone I'm comfortable with, but in way that was new outside of my comfort zone. I don't usually do colored lighting so this was an attempt to get into that more!
These shots I was trying to go for a Rembrandt or more painterly with the light. Her expression here allowed me to peer closer to her character.
These next series of shots are I wanted to experiment more with the gels I had recently gotten.
Though the gels were giving me the color cast I really wanted. I decided to exaggerate the affect via the color grading tool in Lightroom! I think the way the colors were rendered it gives the scene more atmosphere!
